    'Saucer' Cookies
This recipe has been my secret for nearly 15 years. I've made them with white chocolate, but milk chocolate chunks really push it over the edge. Warning, these things come out huge, but they're sooo good!

    Instructions
    1. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
    2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, and set aside.
    3. Cream together the melted butter and two sugars. Add the vanilla, almond extract, egg, and egg yolk. Mix until creamy. Slowly add the sifted ingredients until blended.
    4. Stir in the chocolate chunks by hand.
    5. Drop the dough by 1/4 cup at a time onto the cookie sheets. Space the cookies approximately 3" apart.
    6. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
